I started trying to move a pinwheel about 3-4 weeks ago.
Right now the best I can do is get it to wiggle slowly. I know its not air because it is covered by a plastic container. I can't seem to get it to move where I want it to move, and when I try it doesn't move. When I don't try it moves, but unpredictably. Also I cannot seem to get it to spin like on the videos. I will get it to move one way about 1 - 2 cm then it moves the other way. This is a little frustrating because about the second week I was trying I got it to move like 1/4 the way around... hopefully just a phase? I actually got it to jump 5 cm really fast and then stop one time. Problem is I have no idea how I did it I am pretty good at making it move up or down like a seesaw though I would be very interested to hear how the pro's manage to make it spin like in the videos. Oh, yes I forgot to add, I noticed my psi-wheel is a little huge. Is that a problem? |

Well i've never done it under a cup for any length of time just wiggles. try it once with out the cover and down grade the size. I bet you'll be reallllly good. But keep trying under the cover after you try it a couple times out of the cover. If it helps read the second sticky down from the top, idk if it relates to you but it mAAAAy help.

I guess control just comes with practise. Once you concsiously identify the mechanism required to make the wheel spin, you can change directions any way you like or even make the psiwheel spin in midair. |
