Just clarifying...but "psi" is pronounced "si" right?
But hey, I bet lots of other people don't know how to pronounce it either.
On second hand...it could just be me Crying or Very sad

Well yeah, my pronunciation key was basically the same. "si" to "sigh"

I pronounce psi like "sigh". I think NI was saying he pronounced it like "pseee". The correct english/American version is "sigh" though. Lopsided.

Sheesh, I guess I was the only one who wasn't for sure. How did you guys know? I think I read all of the articles...and none of them said anything about pronunciation. I always pronunced it like P-S-I you know, just saying the letters. Embarassed

Peebs said lopsidid and ESS pointed out that in that example, it would not be pronounced correctly.

The lopsided example is how you would pronounce the p with the sigh. It's another way to pronounce it... but it's still sigh at the end. Not seeee. I read it on some Greek alphabet website...

It's supposed to be pronounced "see" as it's a Greek letter, but English speakers pronounce it "psi", probably because of "psy" etc.

I thought you pronounced the individul letters at first, too. I still have trouble with "Ptolemy"!! (Though I do know how to say it). Psi is definitely pronounced 'sigh' though.
