Ok, here I go...basically, quantum physics has already teleported a photon about 4 feet. The only thing is, the original photon was destroyed, then a duplicate was reconstructed at the same exact time. Let's say this was possible, to map out every single atom of a person: brain, legs arms, etc., and "teleport" the person to the exact precision of every molecule. Wouldent the person actually, die? And a clone with their thoughts and memories and feelings be reconstructed in another location? Isnt that wrong? Please, share your thoughts on this topic. Would you be ok with dieing? How would you know that after the teleportation, you wouldent exist, and the clone just carried out life as you, not knowing its a clone? I personally am against future teleportation.

You won't actually die, you just get moved, atleast it will probably feel like it

Since we dont even have the technology to teleport a molecule, I wouldnt suggest doing it with your mind. Laughing

actually, your body would literally be mapped, destroyed, and then reconstructed as a copy, in another location. You would die. Scientists have actually done this to some photons, and are moving up to molecules soon id guess.

First of all, do you how much energy it would take to do that!!!!! IT'S CRAZY!!!! It would be so costly just to move one human no one would ever implement that as a means of transportation. Also I doubt it would be instantaneous. One way to test to see if you would actually lose "soul" would be to make a clone of yourself and see if you could feel that clones consciousness like in aeon flux. Science would say that wouldn't happen but science also says you can't move things by thinking about moving them.
