Lately, there have been many people writing using 'internet shorthand', this is incredibly frustrating, as you have the opportunity to spell and use punctuation in a correct manner, but completely disregard it. For those of you that cant write properly (or think properly for that matter), ever wondered why your posts werent answered, or had hilarious posts about grammar on them, its because the people trying to help cant understand what the fuck youre saying. Remember, be a good Author and make your posts count, you dont want to waste your post counts on telling people what the fuck youre trying to talk about. English is appreciated, not MSN language. Some of you may think that im a complete grammar freak, but who gives a shit. If i cant read your post, i cant fucking help you. Very Happy

In my opinion those who are to lazy to use grammar and type in ledgable full words should get a warning or a warning post made... After that punishment should be dispense. For, I think negative reinforcement would work wonders.

If that forms a message, what does it mean? To me it's complete gobbledegook. We have a well-formed writing system for a reason. Smile

Im 17 and im on the internet alot okay? And I dont even get that! xD The day that makes sense is when theres an actual forum without random or general chat on it. But some of it, like Idk for I dont know or w/ for with, or b/c for because is common anywhere you go, I always thought that much was tolerable but I guess with some people they dont understand that not everyone here is their age and they need to control themselves a bit, if not more, than what they usually do on forums. btw im wondering what does that say Bladeslinger, anyway?

Its just because these people are just too darn lazy to type 'proper' words. Im sure it actually takes longer to learn to able to learn and write 'internet f*cking shorthand' than use the english language. These things bug me alot. As for the people that cant really spell, or use grammar in a correct form, they are normally complete morons.
Thank you Mr P.Brain.

It gives me a good laugh when I see a post that even I can't read. However, for this site in particular, we need as many intelligent thinking men ( and women, I suppose Rolling Eyes ) as possible. It hurts the validity of this site and Psionics in general when I see someone post a topic about "Geokuhneissis" in the PK forum; poorly, I might add.

I'm no genius, to be sure, but I at least take the time to think out ... most, of my posts. The same should be expected from everybody, I think.

Wow! I belong to a good number of forums and grammar has never been an issue. I never thought that this could be a serious problem.

don't be silly, everyone knows women can't think. that's a joke. I kid women.

seriously though, anyone who abuses the english language like that, needs to be slapped in the crotch with a fish, maybe it would teach them a lesson, and it would be funny.

hmmm...I just realized people is a fun word to type. haha

Yes, my spelling isn't too bad, I thought it would add to it if I put in a common mistake. Smile (Even I spell it wrong as you can see in many of my posts
