It's a liquid nitrogen reaction, not mental stuff.

It is possible, and perfectly explained through science. I saw a live demonstration of this once. It has something to do with the magnetic properties of the alloy on the bottom (Yttrium something I think) at low temperatures. I would elaborate, but I've forgotten the exact details.
That demonstration was actually fairly bad. The one I saw the metal didn't wobble at all. It looked reall wrong, just floating there. Wrong but cool. |

the original post includes the name G-D in the title. does that not break the rules on religious discussion?

Well, might be wrong forum, but I was just seeking around this one, and somehow clicked new topic [might been my sub-c or, just a lucky shot..], and wondered if that might help someone, no religious stuff or any, but just to trigger someone's "levitate object"-trainings ![]() |

It took me a while too Apollo. His first word is link to a magnetic levitation demonstration. It isn't very easy to see.

I kept looking for "what" it was all about... guess it was kinda worth it - superconductors
if you had only put "this" instead of that.. nice link though no pk involved..... although.... imagine doing doing pk on a tiny thingy like those - no friction, that's for sure!! who would need a psiwheel... hehe ![]() |

ofcource its not any type of kinesis. when you super feeze any object and put it over a magnet it levitates.
that video confused me though because i saw someone super freezing a hockey puck then putting it on a magneting track. The puck stayed a certain distance away from the magnet even when it was upside down and didnt have anything holding it up. but in this video it looks like he poured liquid nitro on the magnet then put some metal on top of it? is the metal thing the magnet maybe? |

There is actually a link to the site this is from in the comments for the video.
http://www.fys.uio.no/super/levitation/ http://ffden-2.phys.uaf.edu/212_fall2003.web.dir/Rodney_Guritz%20Folder/magnetism.htm Provides a bit more info and a picture of a sumo wrestler levitating... It also gives information on other supercooled effects such as fluid that will coat the inside of its container seemingly against the force of gravity. |
