I have a friend with Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and I was wondering if there's any way that I can use psi to help the person. And ideas?

DMILS, but I think you should aim away from psionics when helping people with a mental disorder, no matter how small.

I would not try difficult or complicated things or techniques on him. However, what I would do, is send energy/light towards the person with the intention of easing his mind and making it serene and centered/focussed. Just send light/love towards his being with the intention of helping him. Visualize him bathing in some kind of divine light. See how he feels wonderfully at ease and how every cell of his body is optimized with this loving energy. See hoe he smiles, see how he is happy and content and at peace.

That cannot do any harm to him, it will only do him good. You should not try to mentally control his mind, nor try to consciously alter things in his mental state. Just send an energy/light that will help him on it's own where it is neccesary.
