It possible in theory, but I doubt anybody here or on earth have experience in this.
I wish I could teleport, some of these members needs to be greeted personally with a baseball bat. |

I personally doubt any living creature could teleport and survive. Teleporting objects on the other hand could be possible in my opinion. It's probably just about shifting the matter from...~Points at desk~ Nyah...to...~Points at floor~...Nyah. Or anywhere else, really. But how? That's the problem. |

I too believe that it is possible to teleport objects but not life forms. This is because in one theory that I read, it said that the original copy is destroyed, while an exact copy is placed in the spot you want it to teleport to. Is this theory correct? Who know, but it sounds like the most resonable one to me.

I believe that the object is completely dismantled, then rebuilt somewhere else.
I don't know anybody who's survived being vapourised, do you? |

Is it possible that when teleporting, the copy of you is made first, then you OBE or something and take over the copy's body, then your body is destroyed? Maybe by the time that we make working teleporters, everyone will be psions.
EDIT: And I don't think you could teleport using psionics alone, teleportation would require MASSIVE amounts of energy. |

back on subject though, isnt wingmaker the site that steals info. Theres alot of psipogs articles on there and i dont think they have given them credit..then again i havent been on in ages but im shure there was a post about it a while back. i think theres abit of fluff mixed in that web site too but like i said before iv not been in ages. i think it would be posible to teleport i mean with all the stuff we can do why not, i think teleporting is close to phasining i mean if you can pass through a solid object why cant you pass through thin air and pop up some where else

Teleporting Astrally is what I do whenever I talk to people on AIM. Actually I think its more of an OBE teleport because im not all tranced out, I can see not so well, but hear smell, and ive yet to try taste. xD | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||

A minor form of teleporting is called folding, where you kind of make jumps, you can read up on it on Psi Palatium. (pedza)The form you're talking about on Wingmakers uses Portholes, or a kind of wormhole. |

Yeah, my experience coincides with the wormhole or space folding explanation rather than the "demolectularization" idea. I know this simply because I had done phasing before my series of teleporting accidents so I knew what it felt, especially since it's quite distinct in the pain it causes. Teleportation had no such feelings or pain, just a sense of disbelief and being so sure I was just somewhere else.
In my first case, I teleported from one stairway to another on the other side of the school. There was a sort of "meshing" of the world around me. Like I was walking down the stairs, then as I stepped out onto the 2nd floor, it was on the other side of the school. No break in the physical surroundings, no feelings, just a sort of trance (which I invoked during my more spectacular feats) and a seemless transition. It was a weird feeling coming down the stairs and expecting to see the arts room on my right only to find the science lab was there then looking behind me to see a stairway I knew I hadn't stepped out of. My second occurance, I teleported along with my bike so I guess that illustrates both animate and inanimate objects as possible items to be teleported. As for Wingmakers, it certainly wasn't my motivation nor intention but I saw nothing wrong with their technique but of course a technique needs not perfectly describe what actually happens so that's kind of a moot point. |
