I was bored so I tried to speed up my download and it worked(I think). It went from 30 KBs to 51 KBs and as soon as I stopped it went back down to 30 KBs. Does anyone think this was me or just my internet.

Try it everytime you can, and start noting the results, then download a bunch of things without trying it. You never know.

I'll sporadically try to improve my download (torrents, so it's not totally reliable) but I always end up slowing it down. Probably coincidence though, but it is wireless, so it's possible that I might be screwing with the waves.

Ooooh, I am glad this topic came up because I used pk on a download once with massive success. Very Happy

I can tell you that it's not coincidence. It was about 2 months ago when I was on bitcomet downloading a program that had 3 hours left to go. It had been on all day and was about 80% complete. The kb/s rate had been going at a steady 20 for that time so I thought why not (just before I go to sleep) try moving it up with pk. It did. Shocked It went all the way up to 109kb/s and was done in 15 minutes. Coincidence? Even though it had been going at the same rate all day? I even had all the same familiar feelings when pk'ing it too.

I also had some experimentation with pk and bitcomet beforehand where I managed to raise the general kb/s rate up and also the seeds. But it defintely feels like a real battle cus I can feel the resistance a lot.
