Recently, when I have been lucid dreaming I tend to fall into a waking dream. That’s where you think you’ve woken up, but are actually still in a dream, for those of you who don’t know this term. Strangely these waking dreams are sort of lucid as they feel real (i.e. I can feel things, etc) but I am not actually aware that I am dreaming, until something happens to make me realise I am dreaming.
I’m finding these occurrences rather intriguing at the moment and would be interested to here if anyone had had any similar experience. Than you, ~ shenlon2 |

The more common name for that experience is a false awakening. I have those very frequently, and many others do as well. It's one of the roadblocks on the path of lucid dreaming. Confusing as hell when you actually wake up too. |

I had this once, but once it happened I woke straight up.. I guess without me know consiously, I guess my unconscious mind knew I was still asleep and woke me up.. |
