Waking Dreams/Lucid dreams

shenlon2 Joined: 17 Jan 2006 Posts: 220	Recently, when I have been lucid dreaming I tend to fall into a waking dream. That’s where you think you’ve woken up, but are actually still in a dream, for those of you who don’t know this term. Strangely these waking dreams are sort of lucid as they feel real (i.e. I can feel things, etc) but I am not actually aware that I am dreaming, until something happens to make me realise I am dreaming. I’m finding these occurrences rather intriguing at the moment and would be interested to here if anyone had had any similar experience. Than you, ~ shenlon2

Mad_Hatter Joined: 19 Feb 2006 Posts: 393	The more common name for that experience is a false awakening. I have those very frequently, and many others do as well. It's one of the roadblocks on the path of lucid dreaming. Confusing as hell when you actually wake up too.

Solidus Joined: 24 Aug 2006 Posts: 17	I had this once, but once it happened I woke straight up.. I guess without me know consiously, I guess my unconscious mind knew I was still asleep and woke me up..
