if you used empathy on someone who was about to or looks like they could commit suicide might this influence your feeling to commit suicide? |

The problem with that is that some people who do want to kill themselfs don't even look sad. But infact happy and such till they get home to do the job. |

If you did use empathy, you'd probably feel really sad/depressed and the thought of killing yourself might come to your head, but I highly doubt that you'd actually consider killing yourself, unless you were suicidal anyway. |

I've experienced the urge to cut myself empathically, but it's easier to control emotions when you understand that they're not really your own. |
