I was given some incense as an early Christmas present and having never used the stuff before, was eager to try it. I found a rather amusing use for PK in the process of staring at the smoke: using PK to play with the smoke. It's quite beautiful if you have the control for it. Normally, when there's no wind currents, the smoke goes straight up from the incense stick, so you just have a straight line of smoke when psionics isn't being used. But it can be twisted, pushed, pulled and shaped with PK. I may post some pictures since I'm going home soon where my digital camera is. Of course this is also good practice when it comes to very fine PK control.
Another interesting little thing I've managed to do is to hold my hand up to the stream of smoke and then pull it so when I move my hand it remains the same distance from my palm. I wasn't sure if it was just an effect of slight wind currents but I managed to pull the smoke across the room so I'm guessing not ![]() Enjoy, and post pictures if you try this out and get some really cool shapes going ![]() |

Incense is very fun. You should get a cone burner, those have multiple streams, and those are very fun to watch, and to PK. Mine has four holes, and watching four streams of smoke twirl and float around is one of the easiest ways to fall into trance. |
