Capricorn324 asks on August 16, 2005, 12:51am:

I was reading about force bubbles, and I started to wonder...

Hmmmmmm... Do force bubbles break on contact with something? Or do they break when the thing pushing against them is stronger? Or do they just break with the first thing they happen to come into contact with?

Rainsong replies on August 16, 2005, 4:04pm:

When and whether they break depends on how strong they are and how strong of an impact has hit them. If they simply break on contact with another object, they didn't work.

ian__ asks on August 12, 2005, 11:16am:

I've read the Psion's handbook and searched trough Q&A, but I can not find the anwser to this question. Do I have to visualise the gathering of Psi in my abdomen or could I perhaps imagine the Psi gathering somewhere else?

Thanks in advance.

Ian

Peebrain replies on August 14, 2005, 12:49pm:

Sure, you can gather it from anywhere. Try different places and see if one works better than another.

mastertamer asks on August 11, 2005, 3:37pm:

My friend said after 3 days of training he was able to make a visible psi ball. We live quite a distance away, and he has no camera. Is this possible?

Rainsong replies on August 12, 2005, 4:29pm:

Yep. It is possible. Not common, but possible.

GaDragon asks on August 8, 2005, 6:07pm:

Nifty Idea for Psi Balls -

A practical use for Psi Balls, use them as a "bookmark" for remote viewing or presence. Since maintaining a Psi Ball has no limitation on distance, make a simple construct and send it as far away as you would like to go. Once it is in place you can use it as a bookmark for remote viewing. I personally have one near the moon, and two on Mars keeping tabs on the rovers. It makes remote viewing tons easier.

Good idea. Thanks for sharing it. Smile

Hendrxapprentice asks on August 3, 2005, 8:35am:

I always hear from articles and message boards that you can use psi balls and psi constructs to heal a headache. But no one ever showed how to do it. My theory is to just think of a hot psi ball (like icy/hot medicine) and just put it on my head or someone else's. Is this right? Or am i just making things worse. I was also thinking of using reiki hand positions with the psi ball's energy. Like using chi or ki energy for healing. Can someone tell me if im on the right path???

Rainsong replies on August 6, 2005, 12:30pm:

Generally it is done with a "cool soothing" ball rather than a "hot" one. Make a blue/cool/soothing psiball. Hold it up against the aching part of your head. "Pretend" the aching part is red, and that the cool ball is seeping coolness/blueness into the "red" part, turning purple then blue. It's a fairly simple procedure, and it often works even if your psiball is a figment of your imagination (if you're working on getting rid of your own headache). It is taught in some hospitals to sufferes of migraines.

just_gonna_ask asks on August 3, 2005, 8:51am:

is it posible to turn yourself different colours while in a sheild?

and if so how?

SunTzu replies on August 4, 2005, 12:49pm:

It is possible to turn the shield different colors. It is *possible to flare a shield (I know of no examples of this, but it is possible in theory).

I suppose that if you had the ability to change the color of your shield (easy) and were able to flare it (insanely hard), then by optical illusion (looking through a colored substance at what is beneath it), you would appear to change colors....

PS - don't hold your breath on this one

stallone asks on August 2, 2005, 6:46pm:

It occured to me that my hands get very tired after holding them up waiting for psi to gather into a ball. Do our hands have to be up, or can we picture the psiball flying infront of us and then when its ready stick out hand out to see if it is there?

Thanks
Stallone

Rainsong replies on August 2, 2005, 7:47pm:

You don't actually need to cup your hands at all. It makes the visualization easier for most people, probably because of all the energy-ball depictions in science fiction and fantasy; however, the position of your hands is irrelevent otherwise.
