I have tried visualizing a blue blob and similar stuff in my abdomen almost 20 times but nothing seems to work! What do i do? My sister tried it and she felt it immediately. i am desperate please help me!!!
Peebrain replies on November 21, 2004, 12:36pm:
Heh... ok well; don't panic .
Some people work different ways. The first step is always to relax. If you're trying to force yourself to feel something, then you're trying too hard. Relax. Breathe. Ahhhhh.... good 'ol oxygen .
Try some different things. By this I mean, try visualizing different things, or just try different techniques all together. I'll give you some ideas to try:
1. Try visualizing a green fog instead of a blue blob. Or try visualizing water instead. Or fire. Or light. Think to yourself, "What do I picture energy to look like?". Visualize your first instinct.
2. You don't have to visualize. You can try willing the psi to pool in your abs. It's hard to describe. Think of it like when you move your hand. You don't visualize your hand to move, it just moves because you command it to. Say to yourself, "Psi is this energy stuff that my body creates... I am now pooling psi in my abdomen." Will it.
3. Ummmm what else. I find that it just follows my focus. If I think to myself "I want psi in my hand", then focus on my hand, and ignore everything else, it'll start to pool in there pretty good. Don't focus on a million things at once - put the Gameboy down and focus on what you're doing.
Also, if your sister got it to work, maybe you can ask her for help?

pagan_spike asks on November 8, 2004, 10:02am:
Would it be possible to use psi balls to make swords or axes any weapons?
Rainsong replies on November 8, 2004, 6:57pm:
Yes. However, this is not the appropriate forum in which to discuss such. Weapons are generally considered combat-related.

AlienHunter asks on November 2, 2004, 5:42pm:
I am wondering when making a shield. Can you shield yourself from actual objects? Can you make your shield a color?
SunTzu replies on November 6, 2004, 2:39am:
Yes, you can shield yourself from actual objects. However, it requires skill in both making constructs and telekinesis. If you are interested, there was an article written on the topic by Rainsong that can be found here:

Yes, you can make your shield be seen as a color during a scan (sometimes even unintentionally, depending on the visualization you may use).

Sure. Go to the chat, and find someone to practice with. Usually there's someone around willing to try. http://www.psipog.net/chat.html
darhino21 asks on October 25, 2004, 7:01pm:
This question may have been answered previously, but I doubt it, so here goes...
Each and every day before I go to school, I have to shield myself to prevent too many emotions from getting to me...
I was just wondering if you can program shields to only allow_certain_emotions in, and not others. I believe that this is posssible, but wanted to hear it from you guys to make it "official..."
All replies will be highly appreciated,
DaRhino21

Yep, that's possible.
pyrokinetic_wannabe asks on October 27, 2004, 9:07am:
Okay my question is: I was doing an exercise in peebrains Psionic Handbook and While i was gathering psi in my abs it felt like my abs were sorta cramping up i was wondering if this is psi or if it is just me. Thanx
Peebrain replies on October 29, 2004, 6:47pm:
Hard to say... try to stay relaxed. Experiment with the feeling, and see if you can move it around. And don't tense up yourself - make sure you are relaxed.
aamir71 asks on September 19, 2004, 8:22am:
Is it possible to create more than one shield at a time? And how many type can be created.
Peebrain replies on September 23, 2004, 2:45pm:
Yes indeed. You can create however many you want... only limited by your physical limitations and skill. I usually have 3 to 5 around me at any given time.

FreezeBurner asks on September 19, 2004, 10:06pm:
Is it possible to make constructs produce sound? I havn't read anything about it, so I was kind of curious.
Peebrain replies on September 23, 2004, 2:43pm:
I've heard of this idea a few times. I've never tried, and I've never heard of it happening... In theory, it probably is possible, but I have no real evidence to support that. Try and find out - perhaps you will discover something that we don't know.
DEATHEAD asks on September 21, 2004, 10:19pm:
I was told by a friend of mine that psi balls cant move objects, and that you cant physically see the psi, you?ll just see it using auric vision (meaning other people wont see it, and that you have to learn auric vision in order to see the ball). Is that all true? I mean, just seeing for yourself is good, but it would be nice to have something to convince people it exists.
Peebrain replies on September 23, 2004, 2:42pm:
A ball of psi programmed to move objects using telekinesis (aka, a force bubble), CAN move objects. The normal "psi ball" that is taught to beginners can't move objects, but only because it's not programmed to. Read more on constructs and force bubbles.
Psi ball visibility can be weird. Some of them are physically visible to EVERYONE though. Some aren't.
DEATHEAD asks on September 22, 2004, 8:37pm:
Hi
I think i can make a psi-ball because i got all those feelings of pushing-away and tingling. When im doing a psi ball my hands are still, and i feel the pressure between them; but when i move my hands i cant feel the pressure for a few seconds, what i mean is that i cant move my hands and feel the
psi ball at the same time. Does it means i just feel pressure because of something related to keeping your hands still?
thanks
Peebrain replies on September 23, 2004, 2:39pm:
Try moving your hands slightly while making a psi ball. If you're making a psi ball, you should still feel it even though your hands are moving. You might be doing a couple of other things to create the sensation, and it might be dependant on your hands moving or not. You're going to have to experiment a little on your own and try to figure it out.
