Apollo Joined: 17 Jan 2006 Posts: 1589	no. It is not because of just the name. All -kinesis' are just PK. Movement of matter. There is no point in making different "forms" of it. If you want to create wind, move air molecules (PK). If you want to make fire, vibrate the molecules faster. Techniques for PK are for ALL "forms" of PK.

Just because you gave me the opportunity to smack you, here you go *Apollo smacks Lucidess* But really, that is a good question/observation: People do say things like that but they also ask for individual techniques on how to do "aerokinesis". A lot of people think they are completely different things. People have to realize that psychokinesis techniques work for ALL psychokinesis "Sub-groups" (if you want to call it that). What better time to learn that if not when they start? Besides, if we dont enforce this rule, the forums will be cluttered up with all these weird names of kinesis'. We dont want that.

Yes mear nouns are classifications. Because we cant understand things simply without giving them names. No matter how unexceptable the words are, you will always find them no matter what. Look at the context. Are they really meaning that PK and Pyro-PK are not the one in the same? Or are that just using that word for lack of a better word to discribe their mindset?
