eruisto asks on April 14, 2005, 9:16pm:
can anyone give me some tips on getting *into* a lucid dream?
SunTzu replies on May 7, 2005, 10:48pm:
try setting your alarm for an hour earlier for when you are planning to wake up. Then go back to sleep with the thought in your head that "I am dreaming". Usually that works pretty well.

dimiboy asks on May 2, 2005, 2:57pm:
hi i have 2 questins about astral travel
1) do i need to close my eyes while trying to astral project?
2)how can i relax the stomach if i am breathing? (it said that i need to relax the hole body)
Rainsong replies on May 2, 2005, 8:49pm:
1) No.
2) You cannot relax every muscle in the body and remain alive. As you have noticed, breathing and such involve muscle movements. What they mean is to relax the various muscles that move and support the body. Translation: lay back and chill out. Don't worry if some of the muscles are not
relaxed.
In any case, it is possible to project when you're not relaxed at all.

psi_nutcase asks on April 16, 2005, 12:56pm:
If someone uses remote presence, can other psychics see/sense them there? Can normal people feel a presence?
Rainsong replies on April 16, 2005, 9:39pm:
Yes, other psychics can sense/see them, and some do as a matter of course. Some regular folks do, and some don't.
psilogist asks on March 3, 2005, 3:57pm:
How much "free will" does my subconsciousness has?
Sometimes it requires me to do things before it agrees to help me with something (although it mostly turns out to be beneficial to me)...sometimes it "thinks" the opposite of what I think about something...
Is that normal?
Very...unsettled...

SunTzu replies on March 18, 2005, 10:03am:
Make no mistake, when you are getting a message from your sub-conscious it is not forcing you to do anything. So, as far as how much 'free will' part of your mind has, I would say that it has as much as you do (depending upon particular religious preference).

MyShilohMy asks on February 26, 2005, 9:10am:
These questions are about talking with your subconscious:
1. I read on another question Peebrain said that you COULD tell your subconscious to give you 20/20 vision and it was a good way to keep you healthy. What could this mean? Could you tell your subconscious to recover from say, the flu? Could you tell it to give me better psi abilities i.e. TK, shielding, OBE's, etc??
2. I don't really understand the whole 'translation' thing. You practice translating emotions into words (or vice versa), I get that but how does that help me talk with my subconscious? If he is a part of me, he should know how to speak English already. I've read the "Communicating With Your Subconscious" at least 6 times but it till doesn't make any sense to me.
Peebrain replies on March 6, 2005, 3:27am:
1. Improving eye-sight is possible, and avoiding viruses is possible... they do take a certain level of skill though. Communicating with the subconscious is just a tool to explain what you want to happen.
2. "He" does know english. I can understand why it's confusing on the surface - once you start practicing, I think it will make more sense. When you quiet your conscious mind, your subconscious will communicate with you via emotions and symbols. Why? I don't know. That's how the mind works. If you can get a clear stream of information, you can run that stream through the translator to get actual words. I like words. Some people don't really care and just take the emotions and symbols. Whatever works for you.

bobby_xp asks on January 28, 2005, 6:21pm:
I'm not sure if this has already been answered, however, is there any scientific explination for OBEs? or theories?
SunTzu replies on February 14, 2005, 10:07am:
Simple do a google search on OOBE's, there are a number of scientific explanations, as well as a number of educational specials on the subject.
Here's what a quick search turned up:

nerd_it_up asks on February 9, 2005, 7:39pm:
What would happen if someone OOBed (or something similar) while sitting in a moving vehicle like a bus, or even an airplane? And what effect might this situation have on anything? I haven't had much success, but my friend has most of her successes in these situations, but always stops herself because the idea is a bit unnerving.
Peebrain replies on February 9, 2005, 9:31pm:
That's a good question. I tried to OBE on a long bus trip to see what would happen, but I couldn't pull it off. It's hard for me to OBE on command, so it makes it hard to test certain things like that. I've never read of a situation where that has happened, so I would be interested in the results.

DBrent asks on January 18, 2005, 7:27pm:
Just a quick question about Phasing-
It is clear from Rainsong's testimony that the "phasing experience" is horrible, almost on par with torture, and that it should probably never be attempted.
That being said, why is there theoretical information on how to actually phase on the site? Wouldn't it be a bit unsafe to post something like that?
Also, couldn't someone theoretically misuse something like that by purposefully phasing someone OTHER than themselves?
Or am I just a pessimistic git?

Rainsong replies on January 23, 2005, 7:21pm:
You have a good point, there. However, all the psionic abilities of which I am aware have inherent risks to the user, and most _can_ be used for hostile purposes.
