Dragooner asks on June 13, 2004, 1:55am:
In all the OBE files on this site, People say looking at their body in an OBE has freaked them out, why would this be?
Peebrain replies on June 14, 2004, 7:30pm:
I don't know why... it's like, you aren't looking in a mirror. It's nothing you've ever experienced before. You see your face, and it's just sitting there. Not reacting to where you move, or anything like that. It's just freaky .
headbanger asks on June 10, 2004, 8:08pm:
The other night i think i had my first obe but i am not sure. Is it noramal when you come out of an obe or during an obe not knowing who your are or where you are? Also, When i came out of the obe (if i had one that is )i had a weird felling that there had been someone not to long ago at the end of my bed watching me. Is this normal?
Rainsong replies on June 12, 2004, 7:34pm:
No. Disorientation that severe is a problem. I would strongly suggest consulting a medical professional. There are some illnesses which have symptoms similar to that; it'd be best to make sure that none of those are present, before assuming that you just got in a bit over your head playing with out-of-body experiences.
nasulciti asks on June 7, 2004, 1:11am:
Hi Peebrain, I've read one of your articles concerning communication with the subconcious mind. Thank you for writing it, it seems like a very useful skill. I also have some questions about the subject that I was hoping you could answer.
In your article, you say that you went into a test knowing 20% of the material but came out with a 90% grade. I was wondering how that worked? For example, did your subconcious tell you the answers to each of the problems as you were taking the test?
Also, can you use your subconcious to improve yourself? Not nesscarily just in psionics, but other areas. For example, can it help you improve social skills, attract more friends, and improve confidence? If so, how could that work?
Thank you.
Peebrain replies on June 9, 2004, 7:25pm:
To answer your first question: I knew 20% of the material, and the teacher TESTED that 20% basically, and ignored all the other stuff. I knew exactly what I needed to know for the test. I do that a lot now, actually.
To answer your second question: YES! You can use subconscious communication for all sorts of things not related to psionics. I actually go over some in the article. For example: doing good on a test .

genoraven asks on June 8, 2004, 10:22am:
I have a question about phasing. if you phased into something and you stoped phasing wouledent your arm or foot or somthing get fused with the object or would your subconcince not let you stop. maby thats why it hurts because your body is trying to stop phasing but your subconcince wont let
you.
also where is the april fools artical?
Rainsong replies on June 9, 2004, 12:48am:
Judging from what happens when two inanimate objects phase through each other, I would _guess_ that your arm/leg/whatever would end up fused. I do not know for sure. Your subconscious does _not_ prevent injury in these things, however.
psycofirek asks on May 29, 2004, 8:51pm:
I have read on other sites that lentation ( using adrenaline to alter your bodies perception of time i think) can be very dangerous. I was wondering if you guys knew anymore about the excess adrenaline greatly shortening your life thing. Does lentation belong with phasing in the highly dangerous, very difficult, DO NOT ATTEMPT category or what? IF you guys (and gals) know anything about the danger involved please answer. And I know that every psionics thing can potentially kill you, I was just wondering if this was more so.
Rainsong replies on May 31, 2004, 5:20pm:
Too much adrenaline at once will cause heart-failure. However, most of the descriptions I've seen so far of the "Adrenaline junkie" approach to time distortion (aka "lentation") are nonsense, anyway.

Try leaning your elbow on the desk or table, and leaning your forehead on your hand.

I'm trying to find the article on trance induction that you had in here about half a year ago. Can you give me the link to it or has it been deleted for some reason?

It was deleted at the request of the author.
Chillbob asks on May 11, 2004, 1:13am:
Hi, I'm fairly new to Psipog, and I would first off say its a fantastic site, now, carrying on. I don't know if it possible to do this, but I was wondering if it was possible to Dreamwalk during an OBE. You see, I natuarally (I hope I spelt that right) OBE, for example, my friend informed me that
OBEing was difficult, so I decided to give it a shot. So, my first try, I get it, thanks to the articles about it, My friend suggests that I'm a somewhat "natuaral" at OBEing. Then i tried Dreamwalking. Im not very good at it, so i was wondering if it was possible to Dreamwalk during an OBE, since
I'm much better at that, Thanks in advance.

Rainsong replies on May 12, 2004, 4:21pm:

gabriel asks on May 9, 2004, 10:38pm:
hi,
could some one please give me an actual definition of biofeedback because im confused with the hole thing, i can't find an actual meaning of it in reference to psionics.
thanks.
Rainsong replies on May 10, 2004, 3:58pm:
Strictly speaking, biofeedback is a method of training a person to take control of certain subconscious activities (such as blood-pressure) by using audible and/or visible responses from a machine which measures the "subconscious activity" (such as blood pressure). There are various such devices on the market, ranging from simple "lie-detectors" from Radio Shack to elaborate medical devices worth many thousands of dollars.
More loosely, the term is also used to describe any method of taking deliberate control of subconscious processes. Psionicists tend to favour the "visualisation" approach, mainly because it is simple to explain. Make a "mental video game" of a relaxing experience such as chilling out at the beach, and your pulse and blood pressure will lower in response to it....eventually. This is a "skill" rather than an innate ability, so the time it takes to effect such changes varies with the amount and effectiveness of the practice of the individual.

stevetb2001 asks on May 1, 2004, 1:27pm:
Hello,
I 've been trying to induce LDs, with the WILD teqnique. I found out that it is about the same with the OBE teqnique (the one in the seminar). So, can I have accidental OBE? I dont want to have OOB but I cant find a better way to induce LD. Any suggestions?
thanks in advance.
Peebrain replies on May 4, 2004, 1:42pm:
Yeah, when you start messing around with watching yourself fall asleep, OBEs can happen. If you don't want to have OBEs, look to do DILDs instead of WILDs. Check out the MILD technique. (Lot's of *ILD words, eh? ).
