Im_the_one asks on February 17, 2005, 12:56pm:

i finally know how tk works not how to do it....(just to let your know). Is making psiballs different from TK?

Rainsong replies on February 21, 2005, 7:13pm:

Yes, making psiballs is different from TK.

As for "how TK works", please do let us know. If/when you publish your findings, you will almost certainly be nominated for a Nobel Prize in Physics.

DDRoobz asks on February 18, 2005, 12:14am:

i have an imortant question, a more imortant question than my last question. me and my friend are into tk and we were talking and this question came up that never really occured to me: what happens if you're skilled at tk and get mad and knock someone you care about down and they get badly injured? sorry if this is a dumb question and i know i'm not at this skill leve, i'm new, and you guys usually start out by answering questions like these by,"if you're not at that skill level you don't need to worry about it right now..." and i know that's true but i want to be prepared and i'll probably forget to ask the question and it'll happen and i'll be sad. thank you for considering my question. i love you guys' site! bye

Rainsong replies on February 19, 2005, 11:50pm:

*blinks* I'm not sure I follow your question. If you knock him/her down and s/he gets hurt, then...s/he gets hurt. I'd suggest, in that situation, that you call an ambulance.

zitlord asks on February 17, 2005, 10:48pm:

i couldent find it anywhere so ill just ask it.

i was wondering how would you go about unlocking or locking a lock with telekinisis ive been wondering but i havent found the awenswer to it anywhere.

thanks

SunTzu replies on February 18, 2005, 4:17pm:

Before I answer this, let me say that although I practice telekinetics, I am unable to open any locking mechanism.
That being said:
Typically this is done more by sliding the locking mechanism back than actually unlocking the tumbler (mainly because it requires knowledge of the internal mechanical lock). That being said, it is done by sliding the lock back, in the example of a deadbolt, you can look at the crack of the door and see it, and simply slide it back. for normal on-the-door style locks, it is done by sliding the part that locks into the frame back.
NI unlocked a bathroom door (or two?) last I knew, by simply sliding the metal peice back.

Im_the_one asks on February 14, 2005, 11:24am:

If the article says to visualize and believe ... why does it tell you to "just do it?" do you have to use your eye in order to perform tk?

Rainsong replies on February 14, 2005, 7:05pm:

Belief is not required. Visualization is not required. Using your eyes is not required. Teaching someone actually _how_ to perform tk is exceedingly difficult, especially if the would-be teacher is "good at it", precisely because the mechanisms are not well understood.

fenchurch asks on February 10, 2005, 3:25pm:

Alright, sorry.. I know I already have one question pending an answer, but if you have the time could you answer this one as well?

I've been reading a lot of questions concerning the effects of telekinesis and other psychic abilities on your health, and i was just wondering, what do you guys do to prevent these? obviously common sense is one thing, i guess; not overdoing it; but aside from being sure to keep your potassium levels up, and staying in shape etc (common sense again) is there anything else that could help?

Thanks a lot,
fenchurch

Rainsong replies on February 12, 2005, 10:10pm:

There isn't enough known yet, to be able to answer this question well. There are things that are known to _cause_ problems, but there is not enough data to say for sure what will _prevent_ problems, other than the common sense things you've mentioned.

thanks alot

Rainsong replies on February 3, 2005, 3:12pm:

No problem. Smile Presuming that you are talking about psychokinesis, there are two kinds: micro-psychokinesis and macro-psychokinesis. In simple terms, if you need to know about Statistics and Probability in order to figure out if it worked, it is micro-pk. If you don't, it is macro-pk.

Drachir asks on January 22, 2005, 4:31pm:

I'm no sure if this should fall under manipulation so...

Can you program a psi ball to move an object? and if so, would that be telekinesis?

I figure it's kinda the same, since telekinesis uses psi to move things. The only difference I see is in the energy destination. On psi balls, you direct the psi to the ball, but in tk the psi is applied directy to the object. Am I right, or are they 2 totally different things?

thanks

Rainsong replies on January 23, 2005, 7:29pm:

It would qualify as telekinesis, yes.

REmix asks on January 17, 2005, 1:52pm:

I wonder have you guys tried to move magnets and if you did, did it move as usually(like a psywheel) or you coudn't move or you moved it normarly :)

Rainsong replies on January 17, 2005, 7:19pm:

Yes, I've tried to move a magnet, and yes, it moved. I've moved it like a psiwheel, and I've also moved it normally....

(normally = with my hands)
