Questions

tsunakata asks on July 15, 2005, 5:36am:

How do you moved the pencil because i focus on the pencil and i think ''it will move'' and nothing happens do you know a even better method and i can already spin the psi-wheel good!

Thanks!

SunTzu replies on July 15, 2005, 1:32pm:

Generally, between the periods of switching objects, you will feel an inability to move it for a few practice sessions (never fear, it can be done and you can do it). For instance, someone that is going from being able to move a psi-wheel to trying to move a pencil usually will not be able to do it the first time, but a few practices later will be able to move it. My suggestion: switch to a closer object, instead of a pencil, try a toothpick and as sopon as you able to move that, then move onto the next object.

Alanna asks on July 12, 2005, 6:24pm:

Do you think it would be easy for a 12 year old to learn telekinesis? And can anyone learn the abilities or do you have to be born with them?

And...... If I learned telekinesis would it be easier to create shields?

One more question please, sorry.
Can you lift yourself into the air and others with telekinesis? Please and thank you and this is for anyone.

(edited for spelling)

Rainsong replies on July 13, 2005, 2:21am:

I don't think I could claim that it is _easy_ to learn PK, regardless of how old or young you are.

It is not yet known whether telekinesis is something that everyone can learn. The other main categories of psionics seem to be able to be learned by just about anyone, given sufficient time and practice, but there is some doubt as to whether this is true of telekinesis.

Shielding, in itself, is a separate skill from telekinesis, and is much easier to learn. If your ambition is to create force-bubble types of shields, however, then some skill in telekinesis would be required.

It _might_ be possible to lift oneself into the air telekinetically. I personally cannot do it.

Gizmo asks on July 12, 2005, 2:39am:

Is it possible to over concentrate when your doing TK, because I tend to take things too seriously sometimes and concentrate extremely hard, and when i'm more relaxed and in a better mood I seem to get better results.

Rainsong replies on July 12, 2005, 12:20pm:

Yep. It seems to happen more in microPK than macroPK, but trying _too_ hard can sabotage your efforts. This is one of the reasons that people are often advised to maintain a "playful" attitude when practicing. It is certainly possible to make PK work by sheer force of will, however; there is simply a better-than-even chance that too _much_ force-of-will will backfire. (As an example, when I do microPK, if I "try too hard", I normally get statistically significant results, but in the wrong direction.)

quitch asks on July 11, 2005, 10:54pm:

I believe that I am accidentally telepathic. When I'm near people who are thinking loudly, I can pick up their thoughts and emotions. For most people, I just "hear" a soft muttering. I feel as if I'm invading people's privacy, and I wanted to know if there's a way to turn it off.

Rainsong replies on July 12, 2005, 12:16pm:

Set your Shields to block or filter unintentional telepathic input.

PapaG asks on July 9, 2005, 9:03am:

I'm only new to this psionics stuff (5 days actually) and managed to move a psi wheel on my first day. I've been reading that people use their hands to move objects but I can move the wheel just by looking at it, no hands. Is this good or do you need to focus on moving objects with your hands nearby?

By the way your articles are really useful and have got me and my friend hooked on psionics. I always thought this was hollywood stuff

Rainsong replies on July 10, 2005, 11:46am:

Not needing to use your hands probably means that your focus/concentration is better than average.

I'm glad that you've found it useful.

animalluver10 asks on July 8, 2005, 3:28pm:

Do you have to do at least 20-30 minutes of meditation for tk to work or can you do it for like 10-15 minutes?

Rainsong replies on July 8, 2005, 10:24pm:

Personally, I don't meditate at all, before doing tk. Therefore, I'd suggest simply trying both lengths of time, and seeing which one works better for you.

UnknownForce asks on July 4, 2005, 9:42am:

Well Since your born with this how do you be one with the Objects or is that full Load of Balonie when they say that be one with the Object? or is it true but one thing that us? "Normie'S" don't feel is one thing the Object and we just don't Understand it I just grabbed a spoon in the middle of the night and try bending it?.

but I just Remembered that in Some basis I would have to be one with everything now would I if I want something moving or bending but not being in one of everything because you have I would have to Focus in one thing that I want to happen on one object or maybe 3 object'S or things

Rainsong replies on July 5, 2005, 11:14am:

The idea of "becoming one with the object" is helpful for some people. It is not necessary, however.

psilearner asks on July 3, 2005, 7:54pm:

Umbrakinesis is the production and manipulation(controlling) of shadow(s) and darkness. Same with photokinesis, except it's light instead of darkness.

Rainsong replies on July 5, 2005, 11:09am:

The Production of Shadows is easy. Stand in front of a light source. Manipulate the shadow by moving your body.

novicemind asks on June 29, 2005, 9:46pm:

does hemi-sync tracks really work?
because im a little skeptical about the idea of hypnosis tracks

you people rock!

dan

Peebrain replies on July 4, 2005, 2:12pm:

I've used them and they work pretty good, in my opinion. I actually plan on writing an article on the Hemi-Sync CDs that is produced by the Monroe Institute. But before that article comes out, my summary would be: they help me trance out a lot easier, and could be used to help you along. Although they come with some risk, that you should be aware of - specifically, some people have seizures and stuff like that when listening to them. Use your common sense if you decide to try them out, and know yourself and your limitations. If you have a history of seizures, do NOT use them Smile.

skyblueff0 asks on July 3, 2005, 8:13am:

So yea, I guess I was one of the fortunate one, because I tried the psiwheel for the first time, and I got results after several attempts. I made sure to found out what not to do, like how i should approach the psiwheel w/o creating small wind current with my hands...but..here's my question:

I'm pretty sure doing telekinesis requires a certain energy, and doing too much telekinesis can probably drain that energy, so how do I regain this energy back? I'm just asking because each successful attempt with the psiwheel, it seems as though the psiwheel's turn is getting smaller and smaller every time, which was a total attempt of 5-6 times within a span of 4 hours.

Peebrain replies on July 4, 2005, 2:09pm:

Just like any other physical skill: if you do it for a while, you start to get tired. To get back to normal, take a break, take a nap, eat some food, drink some water, etc...

PK is just like anything else. It takes effort to do, and sometimes you need to take a break and rest.
