Questions

pensive asks on April 6, 2005, 3:26pm:

I was playing with the pendulum experiment at the RetroPsychoKinesis (www.fourmilab.ch) and I found that I had much more success when I tried to increase the number below the pedulum rather than affect the pendulum. I was wondering 1)if this can still be considered PK, 2)if you have experienced something similar, and 3) your ideas on why this may be happening.
Thanks
pensive

Rainsong replies on April 9, 2005, 11:23pm:

1) Yep
2) Yep
3) No idea, but I've also noticed that if I push too hard on that test, I get significant results in the wrong direction. However, if it works, run with it.

Parapsi asks on March 20, 2005, 1:35pm:

i tried to move a fork and i moved a piece of cheese , how do i move some thing i want to?

Rainsong replies on April 4, 2005, 5:34pm:

Stick the fork into the cheese, and move the cheese again.

Seriously, though, that is very common, at first. Getting the right target comes with practice.

psiBoy12 asks on April 1, 2005, 10:00pm:

I started telekinesis about a month ago and then stoped, But 2 days ago i picked it up again and I was extremely good I could move it like I never could before, and today I spun it many times.

My question is is it normal for ppl to get better at certain skills after they leave it for a while?

Rainsong replies on April 4, 2005, 4:35pm:

Yes.

_freak_ asks on April 1, 2005, 11:54pm:

Hello, i was interested in TK and decided that if I could make a psi ball my first day then maybe I could move the psi wheel in one day. And i did!! But ive only been moving the psi wheel for about 3 days now, but I want to move on to pencils. Is this a good idea? Should I wait longer before moving to pencils? The last thing is when trying to move the Pencil, do I use the same tequneque(sorry if I spelled it wrong) as moving the psi wheel, just with more concentration? Do I HAVE TO MEDITATE???????

Rainsong replies on April 3, 2005, 2:45pm:

1) You can move on to pencils any time you feel like it.
2) It can be done the same way, but doesn't have to be.
3) Lots of people find meditation helpful, for various purposes, but you do not need to meditate unless you want to.

MoltenDiamond1 asks on March 22, 2005, 2:48pm:

Okay. I have a bit of a problem with moving my psi wheel. I can move my foil psi wheel quite easily, but 1. when I try to move it under a container, at it's very best it twitches, and 2. I can't move a paper psi wheel in the least. And one other thing- I can only move my foil psi wheel at a pretty darn close proximity, say about 1-2 feet. So: my question is, Am I really moving my foil psi wheel, or is it some other fatcor, and Can I have any tips for moving psi wheels under containers? Thanks for your time.

~MoltenDiamond1

Rainsong replies on March 29, 2005, 7:16pm:

At that distance, you are _probably_ doing it. As for the container thing, try starting with just a partial barrier, such as a book stood up in front of the wheel, before going to a complete containment. It _may_ just be a "mental block"; and if so, this should help.

hopecomesagain asks on March 22, 2005, 6:49pm:

How do you practice like it says in the practice manuel. Its says to corporate it in to your every day life how do you put tk in to every day.

SunTzu replies on March 29, 2005, 4:47pm:

unfortuneately, until you are VERY good at TK, it is virtually impossible to incorperate it into your everyday life. Typically, perceptive skills are easier to incorperate into your everyday life, whereas affective skills are a bit more difficult (you don't really need a psi-ball most of the time). The only way I know of to use TK in your everyday life is to build a practice schedule, sorry.

CryoWinky asks on March 27, 2005, 7:53pm:

First off, this website is amazing.

Over the course of my life, I've learned I can withstand VERY cold things. When I was little, I could finish cold treats in few bites, and think nothing of it. In the winter, I wear what I would wear during summer, and in reading your Fire and Ice article, found I can already hold ice cubes in my hands until the melt without feeling much pain. I've always taken icy-cold baths. Does this mean anything?

Thanks for your time,
-Chris

SunTzu replies on March 29, 2005, 4:39pm:

As far as paranormal ability is concerned, no. This means nothing more than what it means to be able to hold ice cubes, take cold baths, and like the winter.

kazbadan asks on March 24, 2005, 3:34pm:

I am sorry if this is the second time i am asking this, but i think that in the first time it failed to send the message.

Here goes: where can i get freeware (if not possible, you can say any other purchasable program) that can allow you to test microkinesis powers? I heard speaking about the existence of that kind of programs/software and i would like to know how and where can i get it.

Thanks

Rainsong replies on March 28, 2005, 11:58am:

There are lots of them. Some are free; others are quite expensive.

A couple of online ones which are quite cool, and completely free are at:

www.fourmilab.ch/rpkp
www.psiarcade.com/garden

kazbadan asks on March 21, 2005, 5:32pm:

First question before this one: where can i read the answer to the question? Where should i go in the forum to read it? thanks
Now, the question: what do you think about this article proving that psiwheel can be easy to move without Tk?

TK real? Maybe not... (unfortunatly :( )

http://www.thekeyboard.org.uk/Psi%20wheel%20video.html

Rainsong replies on March 21, 2005, 7:01pm:

We've known all along that the psi-wheel can be moved without TK. Convection currents, for example, will move it. In fact, we've been pointing this out for _years_. The fact that the effect can be produced by other means does not disprove the existance of TK. The psi-wheel is an exercise, not a proof.

If you are looking for something that can't be duplicated without TK, stop a radiometer without interfering with the light source.
