Raiden asks on February 21, 2004, 5:11pm:

Okay i have never really practiced psiballs or anything. But I am telekinetic, I hurl pictures off the walls and acroos the room almost everyday. Should I still pursue trying to make psiballs if I want to develope other ability?

Rainsong replies on February 21, 2004, 5:28pm:

The two activities are not necessarily related. If you wish to pursue Construct-making, then psiballs and psicubes and psidodecahedrons are as good a place to start as any.

camoore90 asks on February 9, 2004, 3:21pm:

Would you happen to know of a site out there that deeply explains how to preform the different types of the Kinesis'? (like Aerokinesis, Electrokinesis, Hydrokinesis, etc...)

Rainsong replies on February 9, 2004, 6:41pm:

"Deeply"? Sure, there are any number of fluffy sites which devote a considerable amount of imagination and creative writing to that topic. If you are looking for a serious and/or useful site about such things, you are unlikely to find one. There are sites devoted to microPK, and there are rather fewer useful sites devoted to macroPK. The only other really useful subdivision concerns whether the object being affected is animate or not. If it is, the majority of the information you would need, other than the standard stuff, could be found in a medical, physiology, anatomy, or biology textbook.

tkgirl_987 asks on February 6, 2004, 4:03pm:

I've been really busy for the past few months, and I think since I don't have enough time, maybe I should quit. What do you think?

Rainsong replies on February 8, 2004, 1:09pm:

If you have to ask us, then the answer is probably "yes". You're lucky you have a choice in the matter.

SKainuiG asks on February 5, 2004, 1:17pm:

How many kinesis' are there, and what are they?

Peebrain replies on February 6, 2004, 12:50pm:

Please use the search function. I searched for "types" and this was one of the results:

walnutgum asks on February 1, 2004, 4:02am:

pausing can help improve your TK. But when you pause is it possible to loose your ability while pausing?

Peebrain replies on February 5, 2004, 12:39pm:

You have to balance it. If you work yourself every day, for a few hours, you'll be drained. If you practice once a month, for an hour, you'll get nowhere. If you practice a lot, and learn a lot, sometimes it's a good idea to take a little break. There is a lot of information to absorb and figure out - give your mind some time to sort it all. In the meantime, perhaps try practicing another skill, or meditate daily, or do something else. If you completely stop practicing all together for a long period of time, your skill level will most likely go down. It won't take as long to get it back up to where you were, but it'll take effort. Think of psionics like any other skill... it follows the same basic concepts.

ZER0_SKATER asks on February 3, 2004, 4:55pm:

can Telekinesis happen accidently.....like if your getting attacked by someone then out of fear or anger u mentaly throw an object to the person thats attacking u?..and has this ever happened?

Rainsong replies on February 3, 2004, 7:19pm:

Yes.

Lord_Moe asks on January 22, 2004, 4:14pm:

Should I learn how to do a psi-ball before I attempt telekinesis?

Peebrain replies on February 2, 2004, 1:06pm:

That's really up to you. Personally, I learned psi balls first. It's easier to accomplish, and gives you some extra confidence. Learning how to make a psi ball is not required to learn TK though... if you really have no desire to learn anything else except TK, then train TK and skip the psi balls. It might be a little harder though.

m0rph asks on January 29, 2004, 6:26pm:

I know it's different in everyone, but I wanted to ask this anyway. How long did it take you (Peebrain or NI) to start spinning the pinwheel? and about how long until you got onto rolling pencils? I'm just curious.
(and NI: how long did it take you to levitate things?)

Peebrain replies on February 2, 2004, 1:04pm:

For me, I started my TK training in February of 1999. I tried for a few weeks, failed miserably, and moved on to more easier things. Mainly psi balls, shields, and eventually OBEs (which really aren't that easy Smile). In August of 2000, I decided to try TK again, and it worked the first time I tried it. So, technically, it took me about 1.5 years, but I didn't practice TK that entire time. I practiced a bunch of other things... I think it took NI 9 months, if I remember correctly... but I could be messing that up. I think he mentioned it in one of his articles... if not maybe he'll see this and reply to it.
