nesspunk2055 asks on December 7, 2003, 2:22pm:

Can controlled anger be a tool/fuel for telekinesis?

Rainsong replies on December 7, 2003, 5:14pm:

Yes. It appears that strong emotions add extra oomph to psionic effects. _However_, "controlled anger" is rather an unusual accomplishment, and doing pk only while enraged will cause problems.

bloodriver asks on December 3, 2003, 11:44am:

Hello everyone,
I'm just curious because I have been trying to bend spoons for 3 or 4 days now but I have had no success I'm just wondering how long it takes to get some results on bending spoons I have tryed meditating but that doesn't really help me that much.

Peebrain replies on December 4, 2003, 1:34pm:

Some people that attend "PK Parties" report bending their spoon on their first try. I, on the other hand, have tried multiple times and never succeeded. I suspect the group setting has something to do with it. Check out http://www.fork-you.com for some good info on spoon bending.

Rainsong replies on December 5, 2003, 9:37pm:

In solo attempts, for people with no prior experience in pk, I am told that the first attempt takes close to an hour for adults. In this context, you might as well consider "adult" to mean anyone over the age of twelve, because it appears to be connected to the subconsious sabotaging the beginning of the attempt with programmed "beliefs" of "this can't be done". As you know, the subconscious likes to obey orders, and it is the one doing most of the work in psionics. The same obeying-orders principle appears to be at work when a hypnotist tells his/her subject that s/he can't open his/her eyes, and the subject then fails to open them when s/he tries....even though s/he _knows_ s/he can do it.

black72bronco asks on December 1, 2003, 11:20pm:

I would like to eventually master many of the skills concentrated on this site. I was wondering if I should try to include practicing many of them regularly, or work with one at a time? Thanks

Nate

Peebrain replies on December 4, 2003, 1:39pm:

Get the basics down good first. Basic energy manipulation, and basic energy perception. Nearly all skills are built off of those. The typical route for manipulation is: psi ball -> shield -> complex constructs, and the usual progression for perception usually starts with empathy or telepathy, and moves on from there.

That doesn't mean you HAVE to do it that way. Many people just pick and choose what skills to learn, and do fine. If you want to learn everything though, don't form any bad habits training for one particular skill, and try to get the basics down real good.

Vorodor asks on December 4, 2003, 1:00am:

ok here is what iv been doing for the past week.....for about an hour i sit in meditation, then i whip out my psi wheel and place it in front of me....i gently stare at the wheel and try to feel it move...i try to experiance what it would be like if it were to move...i try to see it turning....i do this in a passive manner, as to not strain myself. my question is....is this what im supposed to be doing? any hints or tips on this personal method i am using would be appreciated...thanks.

Peebrain replies on December 4, 2003, 1:32pm:

Sounds like you have a good schedule up and running. Keep it up and you'll spin it in no time. Read through the articles for little tips, and experiment Smile.

stevetb2001 asks on December 3, 2003, 12:10pm:

Provided that we have many objects in front of us and we want to move only one of them. Is it possible do to so, or they will move all together?

Rainsong replies on December 3, 2003, 7:42pm:

If you are using pk to move them, it is easier to move only one than to move all of them. If some other not-pk element is at work (a breeze, magnetic influences, and so on) they are more likely to move at roughly the same time.

Vorodor asks on December 2, 2003, 10:33pm:

is it important to see the object when im doing TK, or can i do it with my eyes closed?

Rainsong replies on December 2, 2003, 11:07pm:

Try it both ways and see which one works best for you. In general terms, it seems to make no real difference.

Swizec asks on November 28, 2003, 4:23pm:

I have a question about pyrokinesis or rather about some strange sipmtoms when I try it. First of all I haven't actually succeded anything so I'm just asking this becouse I wish to know.
When I try to light something up using the tecnique of vizualizing the atoms and moving them fast I start to breath very rapidly and my heart rate goes sky high and also my face is starting to twich. Are this sort of simptoms normal or will they go away with practice?

Rainsong replies on November 30, 2003, 11:10pm:

You're trying too hard. Either chill out voluntarily, or keep at it and chill out _permanently_. Pyrokinesis is (obviously) one aspect of Psychokinesis, and shares the risks inherent in all PK.

Short version: back off or die.

walnutgum asks on November 26, 2003, 5:13pm:

(for N.I.

When I try to lift a napkin out of my hand, what do I do? Do I have a hand coming out of my psi storage and lift? Or just program it to do it, like a psi wheel. (Note: You dont have to answer this is optional if you wanna keep it a secret :)

Not_Important replies on November 30, 2003, 10:55am:

I don't keep any secrets. And this has been already answered several times before.

Does the movement of the moon around our earth in some way differ from the movement of our earth around the sun? Not really. Only in some parameters, but the general principle is the same.

When you spin your psiwheel, in fact, you do the same thing as when you levitate that wheel. It's all telekinesis.

Rkelly asks on November 30, 2003, 3:46am:

is it possible to pull something toward you with telekenesis? I really would like to know

Not_Important replies on November 30, 2003, 10:47am:

yes

Mystinar asks on November 29, 2003, 4:09pm:

Suppose you learned the ability to lessen gravity's affects on an object. Would you be able to manipulate objects with telekinesis?

Rainsong replies on November 29, 2003, 6:16pm:

It does not appear to be necessary to "lessen gravity's affects" in order to manipulate objects with telekinesis.
