Questions

CJspowers asks on November 9, 2003, 10:29am:

it just came to me, but lets say that you (me) have been spining the psi wheel and your like low on energy so then you go to sleep, wouldnt you regain the energy just from sleeping concidering its like meditation right? because your relaxed, but if you dont remember a dream could it be you meditating in your sleep not knowing it?

Peebrain replies on November 14, 2003, 1:50pm:

Sleep is great for regaining energy. That's why all sorts of animals do it every night. Rest = good.

As for meditation... Lucid dreaming has been called "meditating while asleep", but I don't know how solid that connection is. Sleep is an altered state of consciousness, and so is meditation... but that doesn't mean they are the same thing.

Either way, sleep will help you balance out some psi issues. OJ and chocolate too, I've been told, help as well.

kiwarrior87 asks on November 10, 2003, 8:35pm:

If you make a construct or psiball and make it dense enough and the right shape could you make matter or "actual" things for example: a stone, computer, tv, shell?

Peebrain replies on November 14, 2003, 1:46pm:

I would say no. Not that I've ever tried, but just because of the nature of those objects. For example, a TV is not exactly a simple object to just create. Even things that seem simple, like plastic, is not so simple on an atomic level. Psi rarely takes physical form in the first place - if you're looking to get a free TV, then I would suggest learning a different skill Smile.

walnutgum asks on November 11, 2003, 12:58pm:

make your psi wheel flare? make two layers spin what? boy there are some hard words on this site, the link: evans flaring? i realy dont get what he is saying.I've read it over 3 times, any way to put it in understanding?

Peebrain replies on November 14, 2003, 1:42pm:

He is not telling you to make your psiwheel flare. He is telling you how to make your psi balls flare. Flaring means that the psi becomes visible.

orowin asks on November 11, 2003, 7:14pm:

When I was looking up psiballs, I first read peebrain's article, then I read GreatSheepKing's, and they suggest two different energy sources - peebrain suggests drawing it from your environment, GSK suggests drawing it from within yourself.
My question is, does it matter what you choose to draw energy from? Is one source better than another?

thanks,
orowin

Peebrain replies on November 14, 2003, 1:40pm:

The obvious answer would be: do what works for you. Try both out and see what you like.

To extend the answer a little more than that... The most popular theory on psi is that it is a by-product of the nervous system. If that is true, then GSK's old article would be a direct stimulation of the nerves in the abs. My article would be a more indirect way of generating some psi - it would stimulate the subconscious to create "energy". Some people don't like my article on psi balls because they think it is inaccurate for that reason... But if the method works, use it, that's my motto Smile.

zanzafighter05 asks on November 9, 2003, 6:27pm:

Hello,I dont mean to ask a dumb question. When you say make the psiball "denser".like what does?does it mean make it heavier or like darker in color?i hope this wasnt a dumb question. ~~sam~~

Peebrain replies on November 9, 2003, 8:17pm:

Denser means that it has more "stuff" in the same amount of area. For example, a piece of lead is more dense than a block of wood. And wood is more dense than, say, a piece of styrophome.

Telekineo1 asks on November 6, 2003, 6:30pm:

Can a psi ball be used like a crystal ball? because I saw my uncle's death happen before it happened when I looked into the psi ball or could it have been a lucid dream?

Rainsong replies on November 6, 2003, 8:23pm:

You can use any of a number of objects as a focus in "scrying", in the manner you would use a crystal ball. The only real requirements are that it not hurt your eyes if you stare at it for extended periods of time, and that it is relatively inanimate, so it will stay still long enough to be stared at. If you want to use a psiball for that, go right ahead.

A lucid dream is a condition in which you are aware that you are asleep and dreaming. It may or may not involve control of the dream. If you are not asleep and/or not dreaming, you are not experiencing a lucid dream.

gothika asks on November 4, 2003, 8:22pm:

How do I know I've successfully made a Psi Ball? Do you just "feel" it or is there a physical indication?

Peebrain replies on November 5, 2003, 1:56pm:

In most beginner cases, you feel it with your hands. Usually heat, cold, chills, magnetic pulls, twitching, something along those lines. The more you practice, the better you get, and you can even make them visible in time Smile.

redneck asks on November 3, 2003, 10:54pm:

I was reading how to makes shields, and I noticed the word "magic" used in the article. I am wondering is most of this stuff on this site magic? If it is then then i cannot take part in this stuff because it is greatly against my religion. So I am wondering if you could clarify this for me

Rainsong replies on November 4, 2003, 8:50pm:

Try reading the article in question and you will see the context in which the word was used.

stony1205 asks on November 1, 2003, 12:31pm:

Hello PsiPog staff

A student of mine recently asked this question,
"When I make a shield, do I have to program it to follow me, or does it just do it on its own?"

I'm sure many newbies have this question, not just my students. Thanks for your time.

Gnome replies on November 3, 2003, 7:23pm:

You'd think this is a question that would answer itself once you try it out..

In any case, I always attach the shield to my self through a series of lines or equivalent. The shield behaves like you want it to behave. Some people don't do this, and I suspect they subconsciously expect (expect = progamming) their shield to follow them around, for say a shield that is put up to last all day. If you feel that it's needed and that your shield will collapse without this, then by all means do it.. you'll find out if it's needed anyway.
I guess it's self-explanatory that object-bound shields don't need this, like a house-shield.

Telekineo1 asks on November 1, 2003, 10:49am:

What happens if you bite a psi ball?

Peebrain replies on November 2, 2003, 11:57pm:

Probably nothing... Depends on the psi ball. You might feel tingling on your tongue or something Smile. Maybe heat, or coldness. Just keep it away from your brain, that can hurt (speaking from experience Smile).
